Luke 12:2-3 For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
The LORD tells us what our consequences will be if we try to prosper in the ways of evil. When we are in self-deception, we believe that the LORD doesn’t see. We are truly mistaken.

One of the liberating results of following through and exercising obedience to the Word of God is the ability to learn from and look at the course of events that have transpired in our past without condemnation. We are humble in heart; the result of the new character developing within us is the ability not to take ourselves so seriously. Although we take our mistakes seriously, we can now look at them in the light of God’s grace and mercy, knowing that His love covers a multitude of sins. We are now able to think logically about our mistakes and discern why we made them without fear and anxious desires. We are now enabled to control the temptation to run. We can now think through our options by ourselves or, if possible, with a discipler. We begin to desire to learn and be taught in this new way of living. The result is a zeal with a desire to be responsible and accountable.
