Serving in Pure Word
 Serving in Pure Word

Thank you for your desire to get involved in serving in Pure Word. We have many opportunities to do so. Please select any of the following areas to receive more information on serving. We are still in the process of "building" this portion of our website and plan to include application forms and other information on volunteer opportunities. Thank you for your patience.

All Pure Word volunteers must complete a background check. This is required by our insurance company and is completed at no cost to the volunteer. We do realize that background checks on many of our volunteers will come back with a "history." Volunteers are encouraged to still apply as your "history" will only become an issue if it directly relates to your volunteer capacity.

Prison or Jail Volunteer: These volunteers either conduct classes or visit inmates in local institutions or jails.

Hospital (psychiatric ward) Visitor: These volunteers follow-up after a pastoral visit to individuals in psychiatric wards.

Worship: Volunteers provide worship during Pure Word study groups and in the prisons and jails.

One-on-One Discipler: After receiving training, volunteers come alongside others in a discipling relationship.

Meeting Volunteer: There are many opportunities to serve during the Pure Word meetings to include usher, set-up, clean-up, ride share, children's ministry, etc.

Prayer Team: Volunteers faithfully pray over our many prayer requests and pray for individuals during the Pure Word meeting in.
